Online media source The Register reports CES, the world’s premier gadget festival, this year, has chosen to highlight a technilogical device owned by over 50 % of Americans- The Vibrator.
“Why shouldn’t the same high-level thinking like that used in technology and other industries be used to increase pleasure in the bedroom?” asked Grant Bechthold, VP of product development at Standard Innovation, the Ottawa, Ontario company that has sold over 2 million of its flagship product, the We-Vibe, in over 50 countries since its launch in 2008. ”Of all the places that you want a quality user experience,” he continued, “I can’t think of a better one than the bedroom, can you?”

Tristan Weedmark, “sexology relations coordinator for” the Canadian-based maker of the device, Standard Innovation, said millions of people have already tried the device, which is based on research from the University of Guelph.“It’s the only vibrator which can be worn while making love,” she told AFP. “It stimulates the G-spot, the clitoris and the penis simultaneously.”This enables both a male and a female to get the benefit of the stimulator, she said: “It enhances sexuality instead of detracting from it.”
