With International Orgasm Day (July 31) right around the corner, it's the perfect opportunity and excuse to set some time aside for pleasure.
It is unclear when the holiday was first celebrated but it originated in the UK and has since has been recognized in the New York Times as an 'official' international holiday.
Studies continue to show that a large percentage of people, specifically women, have trouble reaching orgasm and some have never achieved it. This day is celebrated and recognized to remind us to acknowledge the importance of pleasure and allow ourselves time to get re-acquainted with our sexuality.
Essentially the day is an excuse to take the time to explore.
To celebrate International Orgasm Day, the company behind the We-Vibe, the world's leading aid for orgasms while making love, is giving away copies of "MOREGASM: A Guide to Mind Blowing Sex" to winner's of their "We-Love" contest. For more information visit www.we-vibe.com
