Deborah Weinstein is a founding partner of Labarge Weinstein, a business law firm formed in 1997.

She brings 25 years of business experience as a business owner and advisor with specialties including business strategy, corporate finance and securities, primarily in knowledge-based growth industries.

Deborah has been very active in the technology community having been involved in many IPO’s including JDS Fitel Inc. (now JDS Uniphase Corporation), GSI Lumonics Inc., as well as mergers and acquisitions, and general business advisory. She acted as lead counsel in the sale of companies to Cisco, Microsoft and RIM among others.

She has over 10 years of Board of Directors experience and currently sits on the Board at both Open Text and Dynex Semiconductor Inc.

Her extensive strategic, entrepreneurial and legal expertise as well as Board and philanthropic involvement make her a welcome addition to the Standard Innovation Board.
