PVC, or Polyvinyl chloride, often used as it is a cheap and durable material, may soon find itself banned from products in the EU and elsewhere.
Recent studies have revealed that the PVC used in many plastic-electric goods, from credit cards and kitchen appliances to toys for both kids and adults, poses health risks and is harmful to the environment. Recently in Canada, a prominent Member of Parliament, Caroyln Bennett, asked the Federal Minister of Health to revise Canadian legislation to control these substances, specifically in sex toys.
