We have been through hundred of names starting in 2001, and as the product evolved through "user" group trials and through several packaging scheme trials, the best name slowly evolved to be "We-Vibe". In English the term "we vibe" means we groove in the forest together sort of thing, a peaceful satisfaction of enjoying time with another human. "Wee" means small, "We" is more than one and "Vibe, well it's a vibrator. Although the We-Vibe is great single, as a couples toy, its brings new meaning to the term "We-Vibe" together. A. The We-Vibe charges at about 23ma, which is 60% below the standard 10% trickle charge limit. Any over charging, by definition, can not be a perfect charging condition.... but the manufacturer expects to get from 500 to 1000 cycles from the battery with more than 60% of original capacity. This means the battery could easily run the motors for more than a thousand hours. It has a huge capacity ( 450 to 500 mAh ) to run the motors for more than an hour, even if the batteries are somewhat abused, an hour is plenty from a "normal usage" point of view. The motors are custom made with gold contacts for long life but they are very high power for their size and are stressed accordingly. The motors draw about 1/3 of an amp, it's the highest power we could possibly pack in there at such low RPM of 3k and 5k. Weekly use would give the We-Vibe a theoretical life of about 4 years. The battery will last a little longer if unplugged after a 3 day minimum charge, based on our reliability tests we expect the motors will fail before the battery does. One of our prime objectives is to design reliable toys, they also have to look good and perform technically and fit anatomically. We plan on creating an entire product line of space age sex toys, unlike anything the world has seen before, but years from now, we also want SIC's reputation to be based on quality. A. To turn the We-Vibe on, the motion is a side to side movement, it has a slide switch inside the silicone, not a push button.

A. The We-Vibe is designed to be a long lasting toy with gold plated motor contacts, custom designed high power vibrator and a high quality rechargeable battery with no memory and it cannot be over charged.

A. No, unlike a digital camera that requires a disposable battery and also comes with a charger for its re-chargeable batteries; the We-Vibe requires no disposable battery.

A. You can use your imagination when it comes to using a We-Vibe, but generally the small end is the internal G-Spot massager. The larger clitoral vibrator arm, that contains the switch, should be on the outside of the body.

A. No, the We-Vibe should not be subjected to temperatures that exceed body temperature or the average hot tub temperature to avoid battery or motor damage. To disinfect we recommend soap and water before and after every use. Rubbing alcohol or a 10% bleach solution can be used to clean if desired.

A. No, this is not recommended. The washing machine will definitely cause physical damage to the We-Vibe and possibly your laundry machine as well. It may be safely washed in the dishwasher only if the dishwasher setting is on cold water cycle.

A. Yes. Your We-Vibe is encased with 100% medical grade silicone. This silicone has no taste or smell and is non-porous. Almost anything, except some silicone lubes, will just wash off with soap and water, so have fun.
